ABOUT OUR FACILITY

Patchwork Equine Services, conveniently located aside the Brookfield trail system, is owned and operated by Lorraine Faucett. With over 60 years experience, Lorraine is backed by a multitude of different disciplines. With a 10 stall barn, round pen and 20 acres in pasture, our facility is personable, reliable and provides individual attention to all horses and people alike! Our location allows clients to ride off into the 130 miles of maintained Brookfield trails with no trailering required, or we offered ride away from barn to local trails. We pride ourselves in ensuring each and every rider has a relaxed and entertaining experience, so rest assured you will receive great service!💛💚

OUR HERD

Belle

Belle is our 15 year old registered American Quarter Horse mare. She is a foundation bred quarter horse-embodying the Quarter horse build. Belle rode at the Gettysburg Battlefield with her owner Spring 2022, and just participated in Norwich Parade of Lights Parade. Belle is beginner safe, she loves apples and carrots🍎🥕

Festus

Festus is our 63 year old John Mule. Festus not only rides-but also drives and packs! He loves children and has was shown successfully by an 11 year old! Festus recently participated in the Norwich Parade of Lights. Festus is loved by many. Festus enjoys any carrots or apples you offer. 🥕🥕🍎

Meet Norman, a rescued john mule, only 11 yrs old, but what a gentle giant. Suitable for anyone. Normal likes horse treats, not carrots. 🍎🍎 Norman is one of our "rescue" projects, was previously an amish pulling mule, feel free to donate to his rehabilitation and care.

Meet King me Black-otherwise known as MEME. Another true American Quarter horse mare. 23 yrs old, has a nice neck rein, and loves to step out. Beginner safe. Meme loves any treats 🥕🥕

Meet our long-time Farrier (shoes our horses) Gerry Rockwell. Gerry has patience and compassion, and will work with every horse to get the job done. He does trims and shoeing alike for us. We love our farrier. 🌞
