Question: Is there a weight limit for riders?

Answer: Yes. We can not service riders over 300 lbs. If you do have a rider ranging between 250 lbs and 300 lbs please be sure to inform us so we may make sure the appropriate horse is available.

Question: What is the minimal age to participate in a trail ride?

Answer: The minimal age we allow is 10 years for trail, however individual lessons can be as young as 4 years.

Question: What equipment is provided?

Answer: All safety equipment and tack is provided for each lesson or trail ride. All you need to bring is yourself!

Question: What if I do not know how to ride? Will you teach me?

Answer: Each trail ride offers a beginning lesson to evaluate the level of each rider and ensure their horse fits them. Don't worry- you'll be a pro in no time!

Question: What should I wear?

Answer: Dress appropriately for the season. Sneakers are a must at minimum. Boots with some form of heel are preferred. Absolutely NO sandals, flip flops, high heels or open toed shoes. If in-appropriate foot wear is worn, we will not be able to honor your reservation. Pants are preferred. From October first, please wear bright colors, due to hunting season


Question: Can I bring snacks for the horses?

Answer: Absolutely! The horses love apples, carrots, horse treats and peppermints! No sugar cubes though please!
